Planning the stops across the state for the "Cost of War-6 Years Later" has been a long and involved process. It started months ago when I called up various people to see if their campus or community would like to host the tour. All responses were positive and we booked 7 different cities across state. One cool thing about each stop is that they were each planned by a college student. While I was learning how to work all of the logistics of the tour out we were all learning how to reserve rooms, make flyers and press releases and promote events. I could definitely relate to all of the other students planning and promoting the tour for their city because at the same time I was planning the Georgia State stop in Atlanta. Being in charge of booking the tour involved alot of calling and making sure everything was going on track at the different stops. I'm glad I was involved in planning this tour. It has taught me alot and I now have met and talked to some really amazing people that I hope to work with in the future. The tour is next week and I will have my fingers crossed everyday that everything goes smoothly. I definitely am proud of the tour and I can't wait to hear about the different stops.
